Turkey recipe by Hilah Johnson: www.youtube.com Her video of the recipe is here: www.youtube.com Topping for sweet potato: 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup dark brown sugar 1/4 cup maple syrup (I’ll double this next time) 1 to 2 tbs Cinnamon Heat slowly and stir until combined, then chill Asparagus casserole: 1 lb fresh asparagus, cut in 2″ lengths 1 can Cream of Asparagus soup 3/4 cup milk Salt & pepper to taste 1 tsp garlic powder (not shown) 1/2 dozen fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 can French Fried Onions Parboil asparagus 5 minutes (do not parboil tender tips) Blend all ingredients together, reserving 1/2 of onions for topping Pour into greased 1 1/2 qt baking dish Bake at 350°F – 30 minutes Top with remaining onions, bake additional 5 minutes Stuffing: 1 Box Stovetop Cornbread Stuffing (cheating), per box instructions 1/3 lb sausage 1/2 med onion, chopped 1 stalk celery chopped 1 to 2 cloves garlic – minced Brown sausage, add other ingredients except stuffing and sauté until tender. Mix with stuffing. Bake at 350°F until top crisps Cornbread: 1 large egg 1 1/3 cup milk 1/4 cup oil (I used Canola) 2 cups buttermilk corn meal mix 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda Beat egg. Add all ingredients and stir to a smooth batter. Preheat pan with 1 tbs butter in 450°F oven. Pour batter into hot pan, bake 20 minutes. Giblet gravy: Giblets & neck meat, precooked and
